Tentative Schedule:

Session I: Friday 5:00: Preliminary Round 1, Preliminary Round 2, Consolation Round 1, Consolation Round 2;

Session II: Saturday 9:30: Championship Quarterfinals, Consolation Round 3, Consolation Quarterfinals, Championship Semi-finals Consolation Semi-Finals

Session III: Finals 6:00

Accommodations and Amenities:

Athletic trainers will be available
Showers will be made available upon request.
The Gymnasium seats approximately 2,000 spectators.
A full concession stand is available with plenty of healthy foods and beverages.
Bracket sheets will be available at the gate for $1.00.
First class awards for placers

Lockers will not be provided.

Twinsburg is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Wrestlers should secure their items in their designated bleacher area (look for signs).

Weigh-in/outs Times:

Friday morning by home school administrator; Any changes must be provided by 12:00 PM (but no weight class bumping); Fax changes to 330-486-2494. Brackets will be drawn between 12:00 - 3:00. Brackets will be printed between 3:00 - 4:30.

* Note, Coaches must present the weigh-in sheet signed by a school administrator on Friday when you check-in or fax it after the morning weigh-in.

Weigh out Friday after last match.

Saturday 8:30-9:00AM if needed.

Tournament Time Schedule:

Session I Friday 5:00 PM / 7 Mats (three in auxillary gym); 10 officials

Session II Saturday 9:30 AM / 4 Mats

Session III Saturday 6:00 PM / 3 Mats

Passes: Each team will receive up to 4 passes for coaches. It's the coach’s responsibility to provide passes to the appropriate participants.

Tickets: $5.00 Adults for each session, $3.00 students and seniors for each session.

NO SCHOOL or CONFERENCE PASSES WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Finals: $3.00 gate for all ages.

COACH’S INFORMATION (READ CAREFULLY)

NO SEEDING MEETING Tournament officials will seed the tournament. SEE ON-LINE ENTRY #6 (below) and SEEDING FORMAT.

1. Coaches must include an accurate account of all A team matches (including dual, tri, and tournament matches) wrestled during the middle school season. Failure to comply with this rule may result in a wrestler’s removal from the tournament. (12 match minimum).

2. All entrants must be in compliance with OHSAA rules for participation. Any charges of impropriety must be made in writing, signed by a head coach, and submitted to the TAB Tournament Committee prior to the start of the tournament.

Seeding format: 8 Seeds INDICATE The letter and specific criteria statistic.

A. Returning Jr. High State champion @ same weight.

B. Returning Jr. High State champion @ different weight.

C. Returning Jr. High State placer @ same weight.

D. Returning Jr. High State placer @ different weight.

E. Returning TAB champion @ same weight.

F. Returning TAB champion @ different weight.

G. Returning TAB placer (excluding 7th and 8th place) @ same weight.

H. Returning TAB placer (excluding 7th and 8th place) @ different weight.

I. Best winning percentage (12 match minimum).

Ties go to the most victories, then a coin flip.

Remaining spots will be drawn by a random procedure assigning each non-seeded school a number.

3. Indicate the criteria each wrestler has met on THE ON-LINE SEEDING via BAUMSPAGE.com Inaccuracies/misinformation may result in a wrestler’s removal from the tournament.

4. No weight class changes. The initial weight class a wrestler is placed is final.

5. WEIGHT ALLOWANCE: ANY SCHOOL THAT HAS A COMPETITION WHICH WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PARTICIPATION POUND MUST NOTIFY GARY SORACE BEFORE JANUARY 15^th. FAILURE TO NOTIFY THE TAB BY THIS DATE WILL RESULT IN NON-RECOGNITION OF THE ADDITIONAL WEIGHT ALLOWANCE. If notification is not received by January 15^th, ONLY the regular OHSAA growth allowance will apply.

6. ON-Line ENTRY

1. We will be using www.Baumspage.com for online roster entry and seeding.

2. Coaches will be expected to enter their final roster, season records, and seeding criteria online NO LATER THAN Wednesday, Feb 3rd, 5:00 pm EST.

3. No lineup or seeding criteria changes will be allowed after that point.

4. Coaches may begin entering team information approximately one week before the deadline.

5. Final seeding will be available for viewing online by Thursday,

Feb 4th, 7:00 pm EST.

7. Coaches:

Only two coaches are permitted on the mat at any one time. Individuals collecting stats are not permitted in the coach’s corner. (NO FANS, TEAMMATES or PARENTS ARE PERMITTED INSIDE THE ROPED AREA.) We are asking you to help us police your team this year.
